the wedding was so beautiful. i think the part i liked best was that carol and frank were all smiles for the whole wedding. both were smiling so big that day. :)

rene got married!!!

the wedding was beautiful! the dress was gorgeous! irene was crying the whole time. i think someone commented...i've never seen a bride cry so much. hahahah.....good thing they were tears of joy! i'm still in disbelief that my college roommie is married!

don't worry mom, this doesn't mean i'm in a hurry to get married.

most asian parents are extremely eager to marry off their children. my parents are in the minority and prefer that we take our time. i'm 28 and my mom says..."you should wait a few more years before getting married."

however I don't complain since i don't have to put up with the insistent parents my other friends have.
" when are you getting married?" for those friends that are single it's "i know this really nice phd student from stanford to introduce you to..."

anyways...i'll post up more pics of irene's wedding later. i'm working on my last final paper of the mini right now. just three more pages!!! ugh....

i don't really understand what's going on in your head. i tried to ask you... because i've been worried about you. but i got a strange answer. but maybe that's not what you want - people asking. i saw that you looked away when i called your name and pretended not to see me. i hope you're not mad at me. i just wanted to include you. maybe you just want to be left alone. if that's what you need then that's kool with me and i hope you work things out. you don't have to call me if you need time to be alone. i totally understand and i'm not mad at you for not calling me back. i'll stop calling you.

FINALS WEEK

i'm in the midst of finishing up my finals week. just a few final papers to go.

then i'm off to see irene get married!

ipod with video

oh man.. there is a new ipod with video

4G nano for $229 (student discount yay!)
or 30G ipod full of video goodness for $269.

sheesh...are they good with their pricing. only 40 bux more for video and 26 more G's. i think i'll go with the nano for now since the video ipod would be more useful if I travelled a lot.

and then if I get a great job that involves a lot of travelling i'll get the video ipod. hehehe....
that darn apple, what are they doing to me. they are going to put me into the poor house! hahah....

i predict the next ipods will be brushed aluminum.

tired...

went to bed at 5:30AM
woke up at 9:45AM after multiple alarms ringing
class at 10:30
PVCA luncheon that I organized for the VC club *smile* from 11:30-2:45
caught the last 20 minutes of my 1:30-3:30 class
met up with game team members at 3:30 to prepare for board meeting
board meeting 5-9PM including travel time
9:30 collapsed on my bed in my suit for a 1 hr nap..(i closed my eyes with my suit still on meaning to wake up after 10 min)
10:30PM ate a ramen dinner
11 until now - working on a paper

isn't school life great?! :-I

i'm really loving my tall cup of hot japanese green tea with brown rice right now

believe me i totally rubbed it in to my roomies since Jeff is from Cal.

i now have a free dinner from cheesecake factory to look forward to. hehehe

this was an old pic a stumbled across whil looking at hydride's blog.

man...the to do list had so many things on it. it was pretty amazing to see how the software and the company changed over the years i was there. even though things were far fom perfect when i left, i still remember all the fun times we had. we are all still friends today. i hope my next workplace will be like that also...

two yolks luck!

i just fried two eggs. that in and of itself is nothing unusual. however...both the eggs had two yolks inside. according to chinese customs, that is super lucky!

too bad i don't like yolks. too much cholesterol. aiyah!

cottage cheese

i've taken to just eating cottage cheese with salt and pepper with my salad. now i'm so full because i ate 2 huge bowls of salad with cottage cheese. what happened was that i had too much cottage cheese in the first bowl. then i wanted to eat more salad with it. but when i added more salad, i added too much. i couldn't put it back in the bag because the salad touched my dirty bowl already. so what did i do? i added more cottage cheese to finish the salad. and now i'm soooo full of cottage cheese and salad.

i hope this makes up for me missing my workout today. hahah...
i was supposed to go to the gym but i laid down for a quick nap. that nap turned into a 2 hour deep sleep. guess i didn't get enough sleep last nite. every once in a while the shortened sleep cycle catches up with me. :-p

whew...there are more...but i have to get back to work.

no more reality shows!!

so i'm kinda sick of all the reality shows out there. i mean, some of them are interesting, but i would like to have some great shows to watch which actually have great screenwriters involved. over the summer i had so much free time that i started watching TV again. shows that i'm hooked to currently are Alias, 4400, gray's anatomy and Lost. I just downloaded the first two episodes of Lost. i don't think i enjoy watching real TV as much because when i download stuff, i can watch while being lazy in bed at any time and i get to skip all the commercials. :) and i don't have to pay for a tivo.

now if only i had more time to watch TV. i also wish i didn't feel like TV was such a guilty pleasure. being in school there is always something i could be working on. sometimes i just want my brain to veg out a little yah know?
