where does the time go

haven't had much time to blog lately. i still need to upload pics i took on my camera. hrm what's happened. went to circa with ted, patrick, diana, alan and hunny since patrick was visiting from pland. that was a cool place, never been there. went to see sandra get married! she was beautiful! and the location was very elegant and the food was good. one thing i really liked about the restaurant, it was classy enough to have speakers built into the ceilings and had a nice dance floor. however we were too tired to do any dancing and headed out shortly after dinner was over. also i saw next to a bunch of bruins which is always good. haha. a lot of people who were old classmates of TC's from ucla. also sat next to a really good food consultant who's family company does extremely well. his dad knows the owner of ranch 99 - let me just say, sometimes what makes business sense is not the most obvious - the trick is, who sees the opportunity first.

we also had a meeting regarding B2 - still haven't heard anything yet but things are still moving along - albeit slowly. I've also been doing a lot of market research for B1, i think it's time i just crack down on myself and start building the website. luckily jeff has offered to help me since he's learned how to do things so much more efficiently after tastebudd.

this past weekend was hunny's dad's bday and we went to koi palace. OMG SUCH GOOD FOOD. i'd forgotten how good that restaurant is. we had crab with most of the meat sauteed with eggwhites, quail, lobster in garlic sauce, sweet and sour pork spare ribs, ox tail cooked in chinese pumpkin, pea sprouts (dow mui), dried scallop and egg white fried rice, steamed rock cod and some good wine. i was soooooo full. i really need to take my parents there to have the quail and crab. friday night we met up with hunny's old coworker dan who was here on work from virginia. he works for salesforce.com. they talked mostly of all the great people they used to work with. it seems that their old company hired some really good people back in the day, however once the economy got better, everyone left for higher paying jobs. they both really love their new jobs because rather than being the most technical people at the company, they are now constantly challenged by amazingly intelligent coworkers to learn new skills and keep themselves sharp. i like a man who enjoys challenges. ;)

question of the day - will oracle buy salesforce?
