i heart adium

i've been having trouble with my third party chat app fire which i use for my powerbook. when i look for new updates on the site, i see that they are discontinuing new updates! poop! the reason was because their developers were lacking in time, since they probably have fulltime jobs and program fire as a side thing. turns out two of the developers work for adium which is another third party im app. nice! i've downloaded it and it has all the things i thought fire and ichat was lacking. i can log onto more than one aim sn at a time, i can incorporate gmail chat, i have tabbed windows and i can keep a transcript of all my conversations. nice! so if you have a mac, check out adium! plus they have this really cool green duck icon. haha
