working weekend

hunny passed his exam! woo hoo!! so to celebrate had a date nite! we went to my fav restaurant - the house - in sf and then watched a movie in the new theater. guess what jyan - i was good and i didn't order the sea bass! instead i had one of their specials and ordered the rack of lamb. it was tasty, although i liked the lamb better at the restaurant we went to for diana's bday in menlo park. it was more simply prepared - just light spices. although the sauces went very well with the house's lamb, i think i still prefer lamb with just salt, pepper and rosemary.

saturday morning we went to check out the location of B2 with hunny's dad. he seemed to like the location a lot and also suggested some places to purchase equipment. after that we went to kaylee's bday picnic at lake elizabeth. little kaylee is now 1! she's so cute. but the poor girl rubbed some cake frosting on her face and broke out in hives! what's so toxic in cake frosting that would make someone break out like that?

sunday elaine and i met up to do some work. we checked out different souces to purchase materials for the biz. some things can be so hard to find! we got so frustrated at one point (and sleepy from food coma) so we went to get our toes done. my first pedicure in my whole entire life. haha. i was pretty entralled with the person doing my toes and observed her every move. my opinion? well i don't think i was missing out on much. although my toes are very pretty and tidy, i don't think anyone would really know the difference if i just painted them myself. however it does seem the nail polish they use holds up better and doesn't chip. therefore, if i ever do this again, i'll get something which won't be as noticeable if my nails grow out. also something that is hard for me to do at home - like a french manicure or something. but eh, it's good i went at least once so i don't feel so lame when other people are talking about these types of things. anyhow i'm glad elaine and i had our talks about the biz. i'm very glad we are focused on the same things and can be honest with eachother.
