robotech!
after watching transformers , i thought - hey wouldn't it be so cool if robotech was a movie? i just read that there IS going to be a robotech movie! and tobey maguire is going to be in it!

I hope they don't mess this one up. Another one of my favorite series from childhood.
The Shadow Chronicles animated film was a real let down.
I still have my beloved fully transformable SDF-1 from the Macross Saga and a green VAF-6 Alpha fighter from New Generation!
I still OWN Robotec videos!!! The song is playing in my head RIGHT NOW as I write this! I wonder if they're gonna make the actors have blue and pink hair. They should.

bacon - yeah i hope they don't mess it up also. although i was quite pleased with how transformers turned out even though it didn't follow the original exactly.
Holy crap, Robotech will finally be a movie? OMG, I am soo going to see this movie. I hope they don't screw it up, it was one of the best animes and brings me back to my youth.

Oh no need to welcome me, I've been lurking. I just haven't commented much.
I KNOW!! Altho...in the 80s heyday of these shows, Mr. W was more busy overseas in the Marine Corp playing GI Joe rather than at home like us watching it on TV.
