dentists and oysters

hunny and i had to go get our teeth cleaned recently and we went to HS friend will. haha. actually it turned out that hunny had to put a crown on his tooth. here is a pic of will at work! i still find it so strange that will is my dentist. i used to pick on him when we were kids! i hope he isn't vengeful. haha. kidding...we are good friends and he's forgotten those days. here's a pic of him working on hunny!

it was a beautiful day! a little windy but not too hot. although we had trouble getting tables since it was so crowded that day. also the owner blocked off a bunch of tables and they never ended up coming! there were some oyster virgins also. haha. i got stanely to try his first raw oyster ever. he even had some cooked ones. jennie had her first raw oyster ever also! kooool. oysterfest has become one of those summer traditions now. i hope this tradition never dies cuz i really love tomales bay oysters and refuse to order oysters anywhere else. it's never as good as tomales bay!

still interviewing. processes are dragging and i'm really hoping to land something soon. send me good vibes! however i've been keeping busy with stirr and helping my grad school roomie with his start up. trying to think of new ways to generate revenue and to create a new breed of company rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. i would discuss more, but he's in stealth mode ;) definitely gets my brain thinking creatively whenever we meet up.

also gymming and running a ton. yesterday when i was spinning really hard i could see my abs ripple in the mirror! that was so cool because i've never seen that before. however when i'm not flexing, there is absolutely no definition. =P guess i have more working out to do.

well i am generally able to work out more during summer time because i can run outdoors and i have more energy. once winter rolls around, i start packing on the pounds as if i'm hibernating! haha. hopefully i can keep up this gymming pace for the rest of the year.
