movies
since hunny had to work this weekend, we had a chill weekend full of movie watching on satellite. we watched freedom writers and holiday. both were surprisingly good movies. i even teared up with freedom writers a couple times and i don't easily cry at movies. the struggle of the students is really heart wrenching. i was pleasantly surprised with the movie - i didn't expect it to be a very good movie at all since i didn't hear much about it from my friends. holiday was more light hearted of course. jack black is so funny and amiable, jude law was actually good looking. I haven't thought he was very good looking since mr. ripley. kate winslet is so gorgeous - she looks like someone who would be captivating even when she wakes up with no makeup. cameron diaz seemed a little out of place in the movie - i think it was because she seemed awkward in the children scenes. but hey - she's hot. i want her body! go watch both movies - highly recommended!

You thought Kate Winslet was attractive in The Holiday? I thought she looked so homely, and that it was strange they casted her to look so bad in comparison to glamorous Cameron Diaz.
i like her look. her skin and complexion. i think i like the pale complexions with rosy lips - similar to scarlett jo. i've seen shots with cameron diaz without makeup - she looks kinda manly. although she has a nice body, she definitely needs makeup. i think in general i appreciate natural beauties - because anyone can slap on some makeup and look a lot better. but how many people can look beautiful even in sweats?
don't get me wrong, i still think cameron is hot and she did indeed look glamorous. but i think if you put her and kate in the same clothes, kate just has more elegance in her look.
I think I just have had a dislike for kate since Titanic.
