yanni's wedding

went to yanni's (erik's) wedding last weekend. it was much nicer than i expected. haha. tons and tons and tons of food. if you know yanni, he is a bottomless pitt when it comes to food. also, he looooves steak and just meat products in general. the wedding was in long island at lombardi's. let me tell u, i've never seen so much food for a wedding in my life! for the reception, there were many platters of fine food from fresh fruit to sushi all sitting out on a huge display with an ice sculpture. there were also many food stations which attendants would serve you with fresh pasta, steak, lamb, cheese and prosciutto. and THEN there were also waiters walking around with appetizers on plates! and THEN you went to the real meal! it was a menu which had at least 5 selections for entrees. i had the baby rack of lamb and hunny had the aged steak. There were also fish and vegetarian choices. started with a salad, then a sorbet palate cleanser, then the entree, then a dessert mini platter and cake! i was sooooooo full i couldn't finish my rack of lamb. boooo. also there was wine provided the whole time. the location was also very beautiful. the ceremony was elegant and humorous (the officiant was cracking jokes the whole time - very ling and erik) and in the reception area was in a room full of light and windows with white long scarves or whatever you call them decorating the place. it was nice seeing the classmates again, even bumped into some that i didn't expect to see. pics below!

goofing off - note with the picking nose thing. amy was trying to get something off the side of my nose, tiny took a picture and it looked like she was picking my nose. so we took all the pics pretending to pick eachother's noses. yeah, we're weird like that. but it was funny!
