so it's not that I was missing ram, but rather one of the ram slots is broken. and it would be really expensive to fix. boooo. also, when i was installing the ram at the apple store, something sharp on the counter scratched up the cover. and my back hurts. and it's freezing outside :(:(:( boo.

bummer, I feel your pain...that would bother me to no end! but at the end of the day your health is more important..hope your back gets better!
Not sure if Minnesota could be any colder, high 23°F! =P
ah well, MN is definitely colder. so i shouldn't complain huh? thanks warren for feeling my pain. and YES, it bothers me to no end as well! i realize it's just scratches on a computer and people's laptops get scratched all the time. but it was so beautiful without the scratches. :(
