wolverine healing powers

yesterday i went spinning for the first time after the run. i actually didn't really feel any muscle fatigue or soreness at all as i was pedaling! i was surprised because i was expecting to have to take it easy for a week after the run. instead i pretty much woke up without any soreness at all yesterday.

sunday - blisters and barely hobbling around after the run. long ass walk to the parking lot afterwards.
monday - woke up really sore, but could still walk. stretched a lot and popped 5 advil throughout the day.
tuesday - still a little sore, stretched some more and did a lot of walking around that day.
wednesday - all good! blisters are 99% gone. although i think i'm going to end up losing a nail on my right foot due to a blister forming right under the nail. :( i hate having unpretty feet. luckily it's not my big toe.

next time i run, i need to get better socks to wick away moisture and lock lace my shoes. hopefully that will solve my problems and no more unpretty feet!

That sounds exactly like me when I finished the half. Mine was the right 4th toe.

ah mine is right next to my big toe.

also i went back to read your marathon posts and post marathon posts. you were complaining about not losing weight after running. well i actually gained weight after running! haha. i think it was because i thought i had to eat more to fully recover so i've been eating slightly more than i normally do 1-2 days after running. also i think it was just water weight because i'm back to normal weight now.
